Christmas Art and Folklore Workshop at IMMA

On Saturday, December 20, 2025, the customary Christmas Workshop for children was held at the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle, where we welcomed our young museum friends with art activities, Christmas games, and traditional Macedonian customs!

Education and entertainment are at the heart of all educational activities of IMMA, and the festive season serves as a source of inspiration for creativity and communication. Through a specially designed museum education program, children had the opportunity to experiment with recyclable materials, small everyday objects, and original painting techniques, while developing soft skills and using digital tools, connecting folklore and local history with global art.

As every year, the workshop concluded with the participation of parents and the presentation of the children’s artworks. Together, we welcomed Christmas by singing carols and reviving the ancient custom of Eiresione!
