Within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement concluded between the Foundation of the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle and the Modern History of Macedonia (IMMA) and the International Hellenic University (IHU), the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle was visited yesterday, Wednesday, February 11, by the Vice Rector for Administrative Affairs, Student Welfare and Lifelong Learning, Professor Vasiliki Vrana, and the Chair of the Department of Early Childhood Education and Care, Professor Maria Tsitiridou.

The Director of IMMA, Ms. Athina Pavlidou, welcomed Professors Vrana and Tsitiridou, who were guided through the Museum’s permanent exhibition spaces, as well as the temporary photography exhibition “Spaces of Memory – Places of Martyrdom”, by IMMA historian and researcher Mr. Evangelos Kansizoglou.

This was followed by a particularly productive discussion with the Director of IMMA and the Head of Educational Programs, Ms. Katerina Tzavara, focusing on the planning of future joint actions by the two institutions to promote Cultural Heritage, Education, and Research.

We warmly thank Professors Vrana and Tsitiridou for the constructive discussion and their substantial proposals for expanding the collaboration between IHU and IMMA, and we wish them strength and every success in their work.
