The IMMA calendar for the year 2026, titled Memories of Thessalonians: Illustrated Postcards of Thessaloniki (1896–1912), explores the transformations and changes in the urban environment of Thessaloniki through a unique artifact of the era—the illustrated postcards of the early 20th century.

The postcards offer an insightful glimpse into the final years of Ottoman presence in Macedonia’s most important port city, giving us the opportunity to wander through the landmarks, professions, people, and historical milestones of the period 1896–1912.

At the same time, the publication serves as documentation of the history of the postcards themselves, highlighting their evolution over time.

This is a bilingual (Greek–English) desk calendar–album, featuring rare material from the collection of accredited collector Georgios Thomareis. As always, the photographic material is accompanied by texts written by distinguished experts.
