Christmas Bazaar at IMMA!

The Christmas Bazaar of the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle was held with great success and an impressive turnout on Saturday, 20 December, in the exhibition spaces of the Museum’s permanent exhibition. The historic neoclassical building that houses the Foundation of the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle and the Modern History of Macedonia (IMMA) welcomed, in a festive atmosphere, friends and partners of IMMA from Greece and abroad, politicians, journalists, and representatives of the city’s social and cultural organizations, families and students participating in the Museum’s educational programs and workshops, university academics, educators, and many visitors from other countries enjoying their stay in Thessaloniki.

Everyone did their Christmas shopping, choosing gifts ranging from Christmas decorations, candles, home items, and jewelry—kindly offered by major companies of Northern Greece—to the Museum’s publications and souvenirs, available at special prices. As always, visitors enjoyed coffee and the rich Christmas buffet of the event, featuring traditional pies and sweets, accompanied this year by live piano music performed by Eleni Lagaria.
