Meeting Points 2025 Postcards

Τηε Museum of the Macedonian Struggle and Modern History of Macedonia Foundation (ΙΜΜΑ) participated in Meeting Points 2025, a project by Off Stream that brought together ten museums across Greece with the aim of making art more accessible to everyone. The result is a series of ten universally accessible postcards!

As part of the project, the artwork The Wise Earth Reveals the liberated Greece by Paraskevi Giapani – Paskevision from the ΙΜΜΑ permanent collection, became the focus of an inclusive public event, a Meeting Point, which brought together people with and without sensory impairments to explore it through different senses and collaboratively craft its creative description.

The ΙΜΜΑ postcard features a photographic and tactile representation of the artwork. On the back of the card, information about the artwork is provided in print and tactile Braille, alongside space for a postage stamp and a tactile QR code giving access to the creative description created by the participants. The description is available in audio format in Greek and English, Greek Sign Language and International Sign.

The postcard is available at the ΙΜΜΑ physical shop, as well as at its eshop.

Meeting Points 2025 is an Off Stream project implemented in collaboration with ten museums across Greece, with the support of the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation and the kind sponsorship of ALUMIL.
