Athanasios Souliotis – Nikolaidis (1878-1945)
He was born in Syros, in a family of Souliotes. In 1906 he graduated from the Hellenic Army Academy (Evelpidon) and moved to Thessaloniki, where he worked as an Agent during the Macedonian Struggle, in close collaboration with the Consulate General in Thessaloniki and Lambros Koromilas. The purpose of his move was to establish the “Organization of Thessaloniki”, which operated between 1906-1908, with the main task of gathering information and the economic war against the Exarchists.
