Location

The Museum is located in the center of Thessaloniki, in the building that housed the Greek Consulate in Thessaloniki, next to the metropolitan church of Agios Gregorios Palamas. It is accessible mainly by bus or on foot, for those staying within the historic center.

In addition, it provides specially designed educational programs aimed at approaching interdisciplinary concepts such as history, memory, information, communication, technology, multiculturalism and the interaction.

The central entrance of the Museum is equipped with a special lift and the exhibition spaces of the permanent collection are accessible to serve people with mobility problems.
