The Women\u2019s Literary Association (WLA) is co-organizing, together with the Foundation of the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle and the Modern History of Macedonia (IMMA), a visual art exhibition entitled \u201cWOMAN & LIGHT\u201d<\/strong>, with the theme \u201cWomen in children\u2019s, young adult, and crossover literature.\u201d<\/strong> Visual artists and image creators\u2014cartoonists, illustrators, comic artists, and digital artists\u2014are invited to participate with their works.<\/p>\n

The creation of the exhibition aims to highlight the presence of women in literature for children and young people, as well as to explore the way in which imagery can function as a vehicle for values, role models, and positive messages promoting gender equality.
At a time when women\u2019s rights continue to be challenged and gender-based violence remains a serious issue, literature and the visual arts constitute key means of promoting equality, respect, and social awareness.<\/p>\n

The exhibition will be hosted in the \u201cAlexandros Haitoglou\u201d Hall for Temporary Exhibitions and Events<\/strong> at the Foundation of the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle and the Modern History of Macedonia (IMMA) in March 2026<\/strong>, on the occasion of the celebration of International Women\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n
