With great joy, the Museum for the Macedonian Struggle (IMMA)<\/strong> is participating in the largest children\u2019s festival in Northern Greece, \u201cPARATHINOUPOLI 2026\u201d<\/strong>, organized by the Municipality of Kalamaria and the Deputy Mayor\u2019s Office of Education, Lifelong Learning, and Culture for the 24th consecutive year<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

For three days, from May 22 to May 24<\/strong>, Aretsou Coast<\/strong> will be transformed into a magical city of Art, Imagination, and Play<\/strong>, welcoming children up to 12 years old, their parents, and friends of the festival!<\/p>\n

Friday, May 22<\/strong> and Saturday, May 23:<\/strong> 6:00 PM \u2013 10:00 PM
Sunday, May 24:<\/strong> 11:00 AM \u2013 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM \u2013 10:00 PM<\/p>\n

The festival brings together 50 creative organizations<\/strong> from our city and hosts more than 90 activities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The aim of the festival is to offer children and their families unique moments of joy and creative inspiration through carefully selected events. All activities make use of innovative modern educational approaches, emphasizing the value of play<\/strong>, experiential learning<\/strong>, and the importance of parenthood, inclusion, and communication<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Under the title \u201cThe Museum of Friendship,\u201d<\/strong> the IMMA creative workshops team has prepared a cultural workshop focused on architecture and creative writing<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Children will create their favorite museum using mixed techniques, collage, and painting. They will also try to complete an architectural drawing of the neoclassical building of the Museum for the Macedonian Struggle<\/strong> and decorate it with calligraphic friendship messages<\/strong> in different languages for visitors. The children\u2019s artworks will decorate the entrance of the Museum!<\/p>\n

Our workshop will take place in the \u201cArt and Creativity Stations\u201d<\/strong> corner on Friday, May 22, 2026<\/strong>, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We look forward to seeing you at this wonderful celebration for children as we design a museum that is child-friendly and open to the whole community<\/strong>!<\/p>\n
