The Foundation for the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle and the Modern History of Macedonia (IMMA) has the honour to invite you to the delivery – acceptance event of the Ambassador’s Archive of the Honorable Mr. Alexandros Mallias. The Alexandros Mallias Archive is an important addition to the archival collections of the Centre for Research on Macedonian History and Documentation of IMMA. These are transcripts of Greek, Balkan and international press of the crucial 1990s and 2000s, where the researcher of contemporary Balkan history can easily follow the tectonic changes in the political, diplomatic and economic landscape of the Balkans and their reflections in the press of the period.<\/p>\n

In the context of the event, Mr. Mallias will speak about the personality and contribution of the Expert Balkanologist Evangelos Kofos (1934-2022), Founding Member of the Association and Member of the first IMMA Board of Directors, to the development of the Macedonian Question. The President of the Board of Directors of IMMA, Professor Vasilis K. Gounaris will refer to the deceased’s writing work as a historian and his support to the scientific institutions of Thessaloniki, especially to the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle, where he donated his archive.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n \n\n \n\n\n
